Hearts -0.5 @ 1.84 - 8/10
BETFAIR
Hearts will have their influential
central defender Steven Pressley returning to the side
and will be keen to make up for last weeks hiccup at
Dunfermline where they failed to score. Hearts have
already defeated Killie 2-0 at Rugby Park this season
and have only lost once at home this season ad won 5
out of their 7 home games. Kilmarnock will miss seven
players including Boyd, Canero, Locke, Invincible, Mahood,
Dargo and Dillon.
Leicester
Level @ 1.70 - 7/10 BETFAIR
I
have taken Leicester at level ball even though form
shows they should win this game against a now struggling
Birmingham it will be by no means an easy task as the
brummies will be looking to regain some of their early
form. Influential midfielder Muzzy Izzet will return
after suspension for Leicester while Dugarry is out
for Birmingham.
Udinese
-0.5/1 @ 1.82 - 7/10 BETFAIR
Udinese
will look to keep themselves in european contention
as they face struggling Lecce this weekend. Lecce are
without and away win this season and Udinese have won
4 out of 5 home Serie A ties against Lecce in recent
History. Two players coming into the team this week
who could have a big bearing on the outcome are names
familiar to any football fan, Karsten Jancker and Martin
Jorgenson, very good replacements for the missing Laquinta
and Pizarro.
Hertha
Berlin -0.5 @ 1.90 - 7/10 BETFAIR
Managerless
Hertha can help themselves pull away from the bottom
spots this week as the team above them Frankfurt play
a tricky away tie at Bochumwho are eight home games
undefeated. 1860 will miss Saarinen, Kiyoyo, Puerk and
Shao for the trip to Berlin, and have a bad record in
the City as Hertha have won 5 of the last six meetings
and drawn one including a 6-0 thumping of 1860 last
season. Every game is a must win for Berlin now as they
face an underperforming Munich side. Andreas Thom looks
after the side while a manager is found and he will
be looking for the best from the team as the position
could be filled by him depending on performances.
Ipswich
Level Ball @ 1.78 - 7/10 BETFAIR
Ipswich
welcome back Georges Santos and Fabian Wilnis to their
team and manager says both will be required. Millwall
have 5 injury casualties for this game including striker
Peeters. With only 6 points seperating Ipswich from
the tops spot this is an ideal opportunity to make ground
on the three teams above them who all play tricky ties
this weekend. Ipswich have only lost once in 12 games
so worth a shot on this for a win or at least the stake
will be returned if its a draw, I don't think they will
lose.
Leverkusen
-0/0.5 @ 1.80 - 7/10 BETFAIR
Despite
Leverkusen missing a couple of players including Nowotny
who is still doubtful, I still fancy them for a win
in this game to keep up on the title chase. They have
an excellent record against Werder and even managed
to beat them 3-0 at home last season which was one of
their worst seasons for a long time. They have only
lost once at home to Werder in the last 8 years and
have won 6 of those and drawn one. Werder coach Schaff
also has three players very doubtful for the trip with
Daun, Skripnik and Kristajic all carrying injuries.
Leverkusen will look to end a three match run without
a win. INcentive for a home win is that they could be
top of the table come monday considering Werder are
one point above them and Stuttgart 3 and they play Bayern
in Munich.
